Kelly Rogers Interiors

I can't think of a better way to unofficially welcome summer than with the fresh and feminine mother-in-law bedroom designed by Kelly Rogers Interiors currently in the Junior League of Boston's 45th Anniversary Show House! Captured beautifully by Eric Roth, the vibrant space was inspired by the designer's traditional, warm and generous mother-in-law, as well as her young-at-heart mother who loves to care for her garden. But naturally, Kelly's love for pattern and color influenced her design as well! The fabulous drapery and sink skirt fabric ("Moon Blossom" by Beacon Hill) was the jumping-off point for the room’s color palette. I adore how she pulled out the turquoise and used it in the lampshades, mirror, chair and gorgeous sofa! What I love most though is how the room feels peaceful and serene, even with an abundance of bright colors and bold patterns!

If you're in the Boston area, the show house is open to the public until June 5th–get all the info here! And in case you missed it, check out another fun bedroom I featured from the show house here!
