When this empty-nester couple decided it was past time to update their home and get the furniture they wanted to have, they turned to Heather Scott Home & Design–an interior design firm and boutique based in Austin, Texas! I love how they used cool and calm shades of blue, as well as cream and white, throughout the rooms (photographed here by Kimberly Davis) so the home flows and feels put together. I can't decide what I love more...the formal dining room with the patterned grasscloth wallcovering, or the family room with dramatic drapery panels and gorgeous built-ins!
